When can I visit Occasions? Where are you located?

We are open from 11:00a.m. until 5:30p.m. Monday through Friday and 11:00a.m. until 4:00p.m. on Saturday. Our shop is located at 4009 Henderson Boulevard, on the corner of Neptune and Henderson in South Tampa. If you need directions, please call us at (813) 286-9592 and a member of our Occasions staff will be glad to help you.

Do we need an appointment to register?

Making an appointment to create your bridal registry is important so a member of our Occasions staff can personally guide you through the store and answer all of your questions. Please fill out the create a registry information page, and an Occasions staff member will contact you to set up a convenient day and time.

What are the benefits of registering for gifts at Occasions?

Registering at Occasions is beneficial in that we provide complimentary gift wrap and local delivery. We pride ourselves on also providing the best service, having the most experienced staff, and offering our unique gift card program. An additional benefit for registering at Occasions is 20% off all attendents gifts for your bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Explain the Occasions gift card program.

To keep you from having to make returns and dealing with duplicate gifts, you will receive a gift card for some of the gifts purchased, instead of the actual gift. The card is beautifully penned in calligraphy, wrapped and delivered to you. After the wedding, bring in your gift cards and you can exchange them for the exact gift purchased for you or exchange the total value of your gift cards for other merchandise or credit in the store.

So we don’t have to keep the gifts that have been purchased for us?

For items kept in stock, we will exchange the item or issue you a store credit for the value of the returned gift. Special orders and customized items are non-refundable. You can exchange your Occasions’ gift cards for the exact gifts that were purchased for you, or exchange the total value of your gift cards for other merchandise or credit in the store.

How long after the wedding do we have to exchange our gifts and gift cards?

While there is not a time limit, we do have to worry about price increases and less frequently, discontinuations of some items. For those reasons, we ask that you bring in your gifts to exchange and/or gift cards within 90 days of your wedding, so that we may get all of your items ordered promptly.

Can our guests actually purchase a gift from our registry and get it wrapped?

Yes. While we don’t stock every item, with enough notice we can special order merchandise to be available.
